The National Spinal Injuries Centre (NSIC) is based at Stoke Mandeville Hospital, Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire, UK. We are dedicated to improving the lives of people with SCIs, and have been prolific in its multidisciplinary research output since 1944, from the seminal work by Sir Ludwig Guttmann & colleagues through to current day.
We have a number of resources for healthcare professionals, researchers and self-help resources, available in the links above.
We have over 150 publications including textbooks, book chapters, peer reviewed articles, contributions to national policy documents and media information.
