Collaboration with AI SME Ufonia begins at BHT

"Ufonia is an artificially intelligent (AI) system that monitors health & wellness through a conversation with a medical device voice ‘chat-bot’. Ufonia can provide autonomous, automated telephone-based clinical follow-up, which is applicable to the capture of patient reported outcome measures in numerous clinical areas."

Supported through the Bucks HSC Ventures programme, Ufonia successfully won an Innovate-UK grant & chose to work with the Ophthalmology department at BHT to test their autonomous system on cataract follow-up patients.
